Shree Siddhivinayak Temple (Mumbai)
Located in Prabhadevi, Mumbai (Maharashtra), Shree Sidhivinayak Temple is an important pilgrimage site for hindu devotees dedicated to Lord Ganesha. It was build on 19 November 1801 by Deubai Patil and Laxman Vithu, and is considered as one of the richest temples of India.

History of the Temple
The construction of Shree Sidhivinayak Temple has a long background story. Deubai Patil (Rich Agri Woman) who build the temple did not have any child of her own. She then decided to build a temple of Lord Ganesha so that the wishes of other childless couples could be fulfilled and they would be blessed with children.
Architecture of the Temple
The shrine has a small mandap. The doors have the carving images of Ashtavinayak, the eight manifestations of Lord Ganesha. The inner roof of the temple has been plated with gold along with the statue of Ganesha at the centre.

- There is no fee for entry in the temple.

By Train- One can reach Mumbai Central and then can take local trains to Dadar. From Dadar Railway station, private taxis or buses are available to Prabhadevi.
